Itinerary

Morning: Guests arrive at Tan Son Nhat International Airport to complete check-in procedures for the flight to Noi Bai International Airport.

Upon arrival, our vehicle and tour guide will welcome you and accompany you to Ha Giang. Take a short break and enjoy breakfast at your own expense at Kim Anh Junction or along the expressway.

11:00: Have lunch at a local restaurant in Tan Yen Town (Ham Yen District, Tuyen Quang Province).

14:00: Stop to visit the sacred Doi Co Cau Ma Temple, beautifully situated along the banks of the Lo River.

15:00: Arrive in Ha Giang City and take commemorative photos at Ha Giang Km 0.

16:30: Stop at Quan Ba Heaven Gate to admire and photograph the iconic Fairy Twin Mountains (Quan Ba Twin Mountains) and enjoy a panoramic view of Tam Son Town from above.

17:30: Arrive in Yen Minh, check in at the hotel and relax.

18:30: Enjoy dinner, followed by free time to explore Yen Minh at your leisure.

Overnight in Yen Minh

06:00: Have breakfast and depart for Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark, renowned for its spectacular mountain landscapes. Along the way, stop to visit:

  • Pho Cao, known for its traditional H’Mong houses surrounded by distinctive stone fences.

  • Visit Sung La Village and explore a traditional H’Mong house with rammed-earth walls, which served as a filming location for the 2006 Vietnamese film “The Story of Pao”, directed by Ngo Quang Hai and adapted from the short story “The Sound of the Lip Trumpet Behind the Stone Fence” by writer Do Bich Thuy. The film received four Golden Kite Awards. Stop to relax and take photos of the beautiful buckwheat flowers near the Nine-Ring Slope.

  • Visit Lo Lo Chai Village to discover the traditional culture and daily life of the Lo Lo ethnic community in Vietnam’s northernmost region.

  • Visit Hmong King’s Palace (Vuong Chinh Duc Residence), located in a valley in Sa Phin Commune. Once home to the most wealthy and influential family in the Dong Van region in the early 20th century.

  • Visit Lung Cu Flag Tower, a landmark at Vietnam’s northernmost point and one of the highest-latitude points on the map of Vietnam.

12:30: Have lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon: Continue the journey with visits to:

  • Dong Van Old Quarter, which has stood for nearly a century. Enjoy a cup of coffee at Old Quarter Café at your own expense.

  • Conquer Ma Pi Leng Pass, a spectacular 16-kilometer mountain pass connecting Dong Van and Meo Vac, and one of the most scenic sections of the famous Happiness Road.

  • Stop for photos overlooking the magnificent Tu San Canyon, also known as Ma Pi Leng Canyon or the Nho Que River Gorge. Located at approximately 1,500 meters above sea level, with an average depth of around 800 meters, it is renowned as one of Vietnam’s deepest and most dramatic canyon landscapes.

  • Nho Que River Boat Trip: Take a boat upstream along the Nho Que River to Tu San Canyon, one of Vietnam’s deepest canyons. The Nho Que River enters Vietnam through Seo Lung Village, Lung Cu Commune, Dong Van District, then flows through Tu San Canyon along the foot of Ma Pi Leng Pass.
    Note: Boat and motorbike taxi fees are not included.

19:00: Arrive in Bao Lac, enjoy dinner, then check in at the hotel and relax. Free evening at leisure.

Overnight in Bao Lac.

6:00: Check out, have breakfast, and depart for Cao Bang. Along the way, stop at scenic viewpoints for photos and enjoy the beautiful landscapes.

11:00: Have lunch in Quang Uyen. After lunch, continue the journey to Ban Gioc Waterfall. In the afternoon, visit:

  • Ban Gioc Waterfall: Standing 53 meters high and cascading over three tiers, Ban Gioc is widely regarded as one of Vietnam’s most spectacular waterfalls and the largest in Southeast Asia. It is also recognized as the world’s fourth-largest transnational waterfall, located along the border between Vietnam and China.

  • Visit Nguom Ngao Cave (Tiger Cave), one of the most impressive caves not only in Cao Bang but also in northern Vietnam.

  • Visit Phuc Sen Blacksmith Village in Quang Uyen, famous for its traditional knife-making craft.

18:30: Arrive in Cao Bang City. Enjoy dinner, then check in at the hotel and relax. In the evening, enjoy free time to explore and shop around the city’s central market, especially the famous Cao Bang chestnuts.

Overnight in Cao Bang

6:00: Check out, have breakfast, and depart for Pac Bo.

8:00: Arrive at Pac Bo and visit the Pac Bo Historical Site. Explore the places where President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked during the revolutionary period from 1941 to 1945. Take commemorative photos at Lenin Stream and Karl Marx Mountain, and visit Coc Bo Cave.

10:00: Depart from Pac Bo for Ba Be. Along the way, enjoy the scenic mountain landscapes and winding passes, including Tai Ho Sin Pass, Cao Bac Pass, Khau Khang Pass, and Gio Pass.

12:00: Stop for a break and have lunch at Gio Pass.

16:00: Arrive in Ba Be and check in at a traditional Tay ethnic stilt house by Ba Be Lake.

18:00: Enjoy dinner and overnight in Ba Be.

In the evening, guests may choose to join a traditional cultural performance, enjoy a campfire, or experience a Then singing performance by the Tay people, at their own expense.

Overnight in Ba Be

7:00: Have breakfast at the stilt house, then relax and enjoy the peaceful scenery of Ba Be Lake in the early morning mist. Guests are free to relax or take a walk around the lake before checking out and departing for Hanoi.

8:00: Walk to the pier and board a boat for a scenic cruise on Ba Be Lake. Enjoy the tranquil surroundings, take photos, and visit the following attractions:

  • Ao Tien (Fairy Pond): Located in one corner of Ba Be Lake, Ao Tien is a small, tranquil pond surrounded by a rocky mountain rising above the lake. According to local legend, fairies once gathered here to play chess.

  • An Ma Temple: Situated on a small island in the middle of the lake. According to local legend, during the Le–Mac dynastic conflict, Mac generals who were defeated fled to Puong Cave, where they died. In recognition of their loyalty, local people built a temple to honor the Mac family. To avoid detection and destruction by the Le forces, the temple was later named An Ma Temple. In the Tay language, “An Ma” is said to mean a peaceful resting place, referring to the burial place of the loyal Mac generals.

  • Ba Goa Island (Widow’s Island): A charming small island located in the heart of Ba Be Lake, associated with the local legend of the lake’s formation. The boat will make a slow loop around the island, allowing guests to enjoy the scenery and take photos.

11:30: Have lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, depart for Hanoi.

20:00: Arrive in Hanoi, check in at the hotel and relax. Free time for dinner at your own expense.

Overnight in Hanoi

Morning: Check out of the hotel and gather at the meeting point to board the vehicle for Sapa via the Hanoi–Lao Cai Expressway. Upon arrival in Sapa, enjoy lunch, check into your room, and relax.

Afternoon: The tour guide will meet you to begin a walking tour of Cat Cat Village, often referred to as the most beautiful village in the Northwest. Nestled at the foot of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, this village is home to the H'Mong ethnic community, featuring picturesque and unique stilt houses. Here, you will learn about local customs and traditional indigo dyeing techniques, and see how vibrant brocade dresses and shirts are crafted by skillful hands on wooden looms—with an opportunity to try weaving yourself and engage in cultural exchange. Continue your visit to Cat Cat Waterfall, the French-built hydroelectric power station, and scenic terraced rice fields.

18:00: Return to the hotel for dinner.

Evening: Enjoy free time to stroll around the Stone Church and sample Sapa’s unique local specialties along "BBQ Street." If visiting on a Saturday night, you can experience the distinctive ethnic Love Market right in town—a unique cultural gathering where young men and women express their affection through traditional panpipe (Khèn) music and dances to find their life partners.

Morning: The Canvas of Muong Hoa & The Quest for Fansipan Peak

After breakfast, depart to explore Muong Hoa Valley—a vibrant masterpiece hidden beneath the silver mist of the Northwest. Viewed from above, the valley reveals itself as an enchanting green maze, captivating anyone drawn to this mystical land.

Continue your journey to conquer Mount Fansipan, the "Roof of Indochina," soaring at an altitude of 3,143 meters. A ride on the record-breaking cable car (expenses excluded) glides you over majestic primeval forests, offering breathtaking bird's-eye views. Along the way, visit Trinh Pagoda at the arrival station and Ha Pagoda at the peak station to offer prayers for peace and blessings before touching the sacred summit monument.

Afternoon: Leisure Exploration or Thrill-Seeking Adventures

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, spend your time exploring Sapa town at your own pace, or book an optional excursion to the legendary O Quy Ho Pass area (expenses excluded):

  • Rong May Glass Bridge (Altitude: 2,200m): Ride the glass elevator through the heart of the mountain, chase floating clouds against dramatic mountain backdrops, or test your courage with heart-pounding activities like the Death Swing, Cloud Biking, and the Single-Log Bridge.

  • O Quy Ho Pass: A natural masterpiece featuring winding pass roads shrouded in sea-clouds, offering a surreal, fairytale-like setting to capture unforgettable sunset views.

Evening: Savor a flavorful local dinner and spend a comfortable night at your hotel.

Morning: Exploring Ham Rong — Sapa’s Fairy Peak

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before setting off with your tour guide to explore Ham Rong Mountain, fondly known as the "Fairy of Sapa." Blessed with a cool climate year-round and fresh alpine air, the mountain enchants visitors with its vibrant orchid gardens (Orchid Garden 1 & 2) blooming in vivid colors, offering a truly refreshing escape.

Continue your ascent to Heaven’s Gate and the Cloud Hunting, a mystical realm where slow-moving clouds gently drift right beside you. From the Cloud Yard peak, take in a breathtaking panoramic view of Sapa town nestled below and the majestic Fansipan mountain range looming in the distance.

Afternoon & Evening: Return to Hanoi & Departure

Return to the hotel for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, board the vehicle for your drive back to Hanoi.

Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport to check in for your flight back to Ho Chi Minh City. This concludes the tour program. We look forward to welcoming you on your future journeys!

Children aged 5 to 9: Charged at 75% of the adult tour price (includes individual meal portions and dedicated vehicle seating, sharing existing bedding with parents). Note: The tour operator is not responsible for room overcrowding if families bring multiple children without booking an extra bed.

Children aged 10 and above: Charged at full adult rate.
