Ho Chi Minh City – Hanoi – Northwest Vietnam Loop 5 Days 4 Nights, Departing Every Wednesday

Morning: Arrive at Tan Son Nhat Airport, where the company staff will welcome you and assist with check-in for your flight to Noi Bai Airport. Upon arrival, the car and tour guide will pick you up and depart for the Northwest region.

13:00: Arrive in Sapa. Return to the hotel for lunch, then check in and rest.

Afternoon: The car and tour guide will take you to Fansipan Cable Car Station to begin your journey to Fansipan, using the world’s modern three-wire cable car system, with cabins accommodating up to 30 passengers.

From the upper station, pass through Thanh Van Dac Lo Heaven Gate and ascend into the clouds. Located at an altitude of over 2,000m, Bich Van Thien Tu welcomes visitors and Buddhists from all directions.

At an altitude of approximately 3,000m, you can admire the 21.5m-high bronze statue of Amitabha Buddha, standing majestically among the clouds and overlooking the world below.

From the Great Buddha statue, the Arhat Road, lined with 18 bronze Arhat statues, each 2.5m high, leads you to the Kim Son Bao Thang Tu complex. The complex features the ancient beauty of Vietnamese wooden pagodas inspired by architecture from the 15th–16th centuries. Here, you can worship the statue of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara and visit the Temple of the Mountain God.

Finally, after ascending 600 green stone steps, you will reach Fansipan Peak at an altitude of 3,143m, known as the Roof of Indochina. From here, enjoy the panoramic scenery and take in the special emotions of standing at the highest point of Indochina.

18:00: Dinner at a local restaurant. Free evening to explore Sapa. Take photos at Sapa Stone Church, learn about the Sapa Love Market, held every Saturday night, or simply enjoy local grilled specialties and famous San Lung wine to warm up in Sapa’s cool weather.

Overnight in Sapa.

7:00: Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a cup of hot morning coffee at the restaurant and relax.

8:00: The tour guide picks you up and takes you to Ham Rong Mountain on foot, with a gentle climb along the way.

On the way to the top of Ham Rong, visit Orchid Gardens 1 and 2, Pear Garden, Cat Apple Garden, Central Flower Garden, Broken Stone, Heaven’s Gate, Dragon Head, Crocodile Island, Thien Thach Lam Area, Buddha Island, Cloud Yard, TV Tower, and more.

From the top of Ham Rong Mountain, enjoy panoramic views of Sapa, Muong Hoa Valley and Ta Phin, with the surrounding scenery sometimes hidden in the mist. With its natural landscape enhanced by human hands, Ham Rong has become a scenic destination in Sapa.

Alternatively, you can walk to Cat Cat Village to learn about the daily life of the Hmong ethnic people and visit Tien Sa Waterfall. Enjoy traditional musical performances at the old hydroelectric plant.

Noon: Return to Sapa town for lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon: Free time to relax or visit Sapa Stone Church, Love Valley, the ancient stone area, and other nearby attractions.

18:00: Dinner at the restaurant. Free evening to explore Sapa. You can enjoy a Red Dao herbal bath to relax and recover after a day of sightseeing (at your own expense).

Overnight in Sapa.

6:30: Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a cup of morning coffee at the restaurant and relax.

7:00: The car and tour guide pick you up and take you to Rong May Glass Bridge Tourist Area, located in the O Quy Ho Heaven Gate area of Tam Duong District, Lai Chau Province.

The tour guide will assist you in purchasing tickets to visit and enjoy the following attractions and activities:

• Glass Bridge Elevator
• Dugout Bridge
• Speed Zipline
• Death Swing
• Infinity Bed

After visiting the Glass Bridge, continue along O Quy Ho Pass toward Tam Duong District and admire the beautiful mountain and river scenery.

Take photos at the Lai Chau City Monument and travel through Phong Tho, with its picturesque roads. Continue through areas known from books and stories, including the upper reaches of the Da River, Sin Ho District and the Nam Na River, before reaching Muong Lay District, where traditional Thai stilt houses stretch across the landscape.

12:00: Lunch at a restaurant in Muong Lay Town.

After lunch, continue by bus to Dien Bien.

15:00: Arrive in Dien Bien Phu City. The car will take you to visit:

• Dien Bien Victory Monument.
• De Castries’ Bunker, the former workplace and command center of General Christian de Castries.
• Muong Thanh Bridge and the Nam Rom River, where you can stop for photos.
• Hill A1, a site associated with the fierce battles of the past.

18:00: Check in to the hotel and rest.

19:00: Dinner at the restaurant. Free evening to relax.

If requested, the group can arrange an evening visit to a Black Thai village in Dien Bien for dinner and cultural exchange. Any related expenses will be paid by guests directly.

Overnight in Dien Bien.

6:30: Breakfast at the hotel and check out.

7:30: Depart by bus for Moc Chau. On the way, the tour guide will introduce Muong Phang, a historical site that served as the command center of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, directly commanded by General Vo Nguyen Giap during the 1954 Dien Bien Phu Campaign.

Crossing Tuan Giao District, you will travel along the 32km-long Pha Din Pass, located between Tuan Giao District in Dien Bien Province and Thuan Chau District in Son La Province.

Stop at the top of the pass to take souvenir photos. On the way to Moc Chau, pass through Son La City and stop for photos at the Son La City Monument and Co Noi Crossroads Monument.

12:00: Lunch in Moc Chau.

Dai Yem Waterfall – A small waterfall with charming natural beauty. According to legend, the waterfall represents the girl’s bib that saved a boy from floodwaters.

You can purchase tickets to visit the Love Glass Bridge (at your own expense), known as the first glass bridge in Vietnam.

Next, the car takes the group to Muong Sang. Here, you are free to choose one of two famous attractions: Happy Land or the Bach Long Glass Bridge, known as the world’s longest glass bridge.

Happy Land Flower Garden – Covering nearly 5 hectares, Happy Land is located in the middle of a large valley in Lon Village, Muong Sang Commune. Visitors can admire flower gardens featuring many different varieties, including flowers typical of the Northwest region.

Bach Long Glass Bridge – The bridge spans two mountains over a distance of 285m and is 2.4m wide, featuring large glass panels measuring 2.4m x 3m. It applies 9D technology with 60 simulated visual and sound effects to create an immersive experience.

The Glass Skywalk continues for 370m along the cliff, overlooking a 150m-deep abyss. There are also two viewing platforms, each 3m wide and 5m long, offering panoramic views of the tourist area and photo opportunities.

18:30: Return to the restaurant for dinner. After dinner, the car takes you back to the hotel for check-in and rest.

Free evening to explore Moc Chau at night.

6:15: Check out and board the bus to have breakfast at the restaurant.

7:00: Depart to visit:

Heart Tea Hill – Perhaps the most beautiful tea hill on the Moc Chau Plateau, and even one of the most beautiful tea hills in Vietnam. The green tea plantations stretch into the distance in winding, heart-shaped patterns, creating a romantic and peaceful atmosphere. This is also a source of raw materials for the production of famous Oolong tea.

Stop at the local center to learn about and shop for typical Moc Chau products, especially products made from fresh cow’s milk produced on the plateau. Free time to shop for gifts for yourself, friends and relatives.

Moc Chau Fruit and Flower Seasons: Depending on the season, the tour guide will take you to visit and take photos at typical flower and fruit gardens in Moc Chau. The scenery can be vibrant and impressive.

Note: The availability of these flower and fruit gardens depends entirely on weather conditions and local planting schedules.

• Peach blossom season: Around the Lunar New Year.
• White cabbage season: Before and after the Lunar New Year.
• Buckwheat flower season: From September to December.
• Red strawberry picking season: Mainly during the winter months and at other times depending on the season.
• Many other local specialties are available throughout the year.

10:00: Continue by bus back to Hanoi.

On the way, stop at the famous S-shaped road in Van Ho to take photos. Note: The S-shaped road is located on National Highway 6, where traffic is heavy. The vehicle will only stop when the driver and tour guide determine that conditions are safe for the group.

If stopping is not possible, the vehicle will slow down so that the tour guide can introduce the location and you can view the road from the vehicle.

12:00: Lunch in Mai Chau.

After lunch, you can explore Mai Chau Valley by bicycle or electric car (at your own expense). Visit the beautiful stilt houses of the Thai people, learn about their unique culture, visit local brocade stalls, learn about traditional Thai brocade weaving, and shop for souvenirs.

Afterwards, enjoy free time to cycle or walk around, shop and take photos.

15:00: Board the bus back to Hanoi. On the way, stop at a Ba Vi milk specialty shop to rest and purchase gifts for friends and relatives.

19:00: Arrive in Hanoi. The car continues to Noi Bai Airport for your flight back to Ho Chi Minh City.
